About Us

The Mile Hi Church Foundation was formed in 1983 for the specific purpose of creating and managing an Endowment Fund for the benefit of Mile Hi Church. During its 38 years of existence, the Endowment has grown to over $2.4 million. The Endowment is currently managed by Segall, Bryant & Hamill, LLC in Denver, Colorado.

The Foundation receives donations from benefactors under its Giving While Living program and from donor bequests created in the Estate Plan documents.

The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors with specific expertise in funds management.

Four Pillars of Giving

The Foundation has identified four key areas of support it believes are the most valuable to the long-term success of Mile Hi Church.  These four areas (called the “Four Pillars of Giving”) are funded by the Foundation and by donors who may designate their gifts to a particular area of interest.

The Four Pillars are:

INFRASTRUCTURE

Maintenance of the Church’s campus facilities is critical to the future success of this ministry.  Building upgrades, campus signage, and general maintenance of grounds and buildings are funded through the Infrastructure pillar.

Investing in our future through the Youth ministry and its programs is a key goal of the Foundation.  Youth camps, Sunday workshops, conferences, scholarships and global experiences will help build leadership skills in teens as well as provide community-building experiences.  The Youth pillar will also support the pre-school program, called the Childrens Enrichment Center.

YOUTH

OUTREACH

Our vision for the ability of Mile Hi Church to reach further into our community, our nation and our world includes a strong Outreach component.  Funding to support Outreach programs and to connect with other charities doing good work in the world will be important.  The Outreach pillar is intended to support this work as Mile Hi extends its impact beyond its Lakewood location.

One of the cornerstones of Mile Hi Church is education and teaching the principles of Science of Mind.  Through classes, conferences and workshops, Mile Hi supports individuals to reach their full potential and live a full life.  Funding for the expansion and growth of the Mile Hi education curriculum is a key component to sustained expansion of the Church’s message.  The Education pillar supports using current day methodologies and technologies to bring tried-and-true philosophies to our local community and beyond.
